Stewardship

We believe that Christians are stewards of God’s resources. Stewardship is our response as believers to God’s gracious gifts. While Biblical stewardship is broader than the practice of giving money to the church, much of Jesus teachings and the example of the early church suggest financial responsibility is an important element of stewardship. We recognize that giving may be one of the most tangible expressions of our covenant walk of faith.

We believe Christians should give generously, consistently and proportionately to the local church as God’s instrument to continue His earthly ministry (Malachi 3:10-11; Luke 16:1-14; Corinthians 9:6-8).

Family Commitments

We are committed to actively supporting the development and nurturing of the family, recognising this as a fundamental construct of society.

We see the family as the basic social unit of society and the foundational institution established by God through a man and a woman for religious faith to be nurtured through parental example and teachings (Ephesians 5:21-33; Colossians 3:18-21).

Worship

We recognize that God is to be glorified in everything we do. We seek to honor God by maintaining a high standard of excellence.

We believe excellence should be reflected in the service of our personnel, the efficient use of appropriate technology, and the quality of publications.

Love For All

We believe that God loves all people: therefore, we must demonstrate His love by welcoming every person that enters the doors of Covenant House of Faith Ministry.

We seek to express His open invitation to come to Him by celebrating their presence, extending a warm and friendly welcome, and leaving a lasting spiritual impression upon our visitors. (Mark 12:30-31, Luke 10:27, Galatians 5:14, Romans 13:8)

Evangelism

We recognize the eternal value God places on every person and commit ourselves to love and care for others as humans created in His image. We seek to fulfill Christ’s great commandment to love our neighbors as we love ourselves, and to love one another as Christ loves us.

We further commit ourselves to expressing His love by fulfilling the Great Commission of transforming all people into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ
(Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 12:31; John 13:34-35).

Excellence

We believe that ministry facilities should reflect our commitment to excellence and quality services to God and His people. We value the use of attractive facilities that are conducive to an environment that is inviting and encourages authentic worship.

We believe that these facilities are instruments of ministry designed to serve people. (Ecclesiastes 9:10, 2 Corinthians 8:7, Daniel 6:3, Colossians 3:23, Titus 2:7)

The Word of God

We believe in biblical preaching and teaching in order to equip our people with the timeless truths of the Word of God. We believe that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant, immutable, authoritative Word of God.

We strive therefore, to preach and teach the Bible as God’s Word and the trustworthy rule for belief and behavior. We endeavor to preach and teach God’s Word with simplicity, integrity, and authority so that seekers find Christ and believers mature in Him. (I1 Timothy 3:16-4:2 Psalm 1, John 1:1-12)

Commitment

We believe that understanding Scripture is a catalyst for transforming, enhancing, and growing lives: therefore, we are committed to the ministry of Christian Education as an indispensable foundational ministry that must undergird all other ministries of the church.

We passionately commit ourselves therefor to every member unto Christian service and ministry. (Il Timothy 3:14-17; Psalm 1: Psalm 119: Nehemiah 8:8).

Intimacy

We believe that we are created to glorify God and an expression of this is our acknowledgement of His supreme value and worth in our personal lives and in the corporate, contemporary praise and worship of the church.

We shall strive in making every member of CHF into developing personal relationship with God through the Holy Spirit and the word of God. this will be demonstrated in our programs, (Acts 2:47: Ephesians 5:18-20; Psalm 150)

Prayer

We believe prayer and fasting are key to the fundamental growth and development of every believer unto Christian maturity; we vigorously seek every member of covenant house of faith to be fasting proof and prayer agent.

We shall be known by our commitment to fasting and prayer. (Luke 18:1, Matthew 17:21, Acts 13:2, Joel 2:12, Luke 4:2-4)

Leadership

We believe that church leaders are, above all. servants of our Lord Jesus Christ. We give ourselves to the highest good for our brothers and sisters in Christ and the community.

We believe that the church should be led by men and women who display Christ like character and evidence in their submission to God in all things. We also recognize that servants and leaders are to watch over our souls and that Spirit-filled, godly pastors are an invaluable asset of the church. (Matthew 20:25-28; Hebrews 13:17).
